Margarita Lopez Dies in Jurupa Valley Semi-Truck Crash at Etiwanda Avenue and Inland Avenue

Jurupa Valley, California (April 8, 2022) – A 62-year-old woman died Thursday morning following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Jurupa Valley.
The crash involving an SUV and a semi-truck took place at about 5:10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the intersection of Etiwanda Avenue and Inland Avenue.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, Margarita Lopez, 62, was driving the SUV at the time of the crash. Lopez became trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated.

She was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital with serious injuries. She later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital and was pronounced dead at around 6:16 a.m.
The driver of the semi-truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Authorities provided no additional details regarding the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
