Man, 41, Killed in Tulare County Accident on Road 144 near Highway 201
Tulare County, California (April 8, 2022) – A man was killed in a suspected DUI crash in Tulare County on Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Road 144 north of Highway 201 on Thursday, April 7.
CHP said a 41-year-old man was driving south on Road 144 when he swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a northbound Honda.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The other motorist, a 67-year-old, was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
