1 Person Hospitalized after Valencia Crash on 5 Freeway near Rye Canyon Road and Magic Mountain Parkway
Valencia, California (April 11, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning two-vehicle accident that left one person injured in Valencia.
The crash occurred at about 6:45 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway between Rye Canyon Road and Magic Mountain Parkway.
According to the officials, two vehicles collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, both vehicles flipped over. One person was trapped in the wreckage.
One person was injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
