1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 101 near Bell Springs Road in Laytonville
Mendocino County, California (April 12, 2022) – One person was killed in a fiery big rig crash near Laytonville in Mendocino County on Monday afternoon.
At around 2:40 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic collision on Highway 101 near Bell Springs Road.
Officials say a big rig and a pickup truck were involved in the collision. One of the cars caught fire after the collision.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the decedent was not immediately disclosed.
