Man Killed in Corona Bicycle Crash on 91 Freeway near McKinley Street

Corona, California (April 13, 2022) – A man died after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Corona early Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on the 91 Freeway, west of McKinley Street at around 1 a.m. on April 11.
A vehicle traveling in the No. 2 lane of the eastbound 91 Freeway at around 70 mph collided with a bicyclist that cut across the roadway in front of them.
Rider Dies in Corona Bicycle Crash on 91 Freeway
Due to the impact, the rider was thrown onto the windshield of the vehicle and the glass broke, scratching a passenger in the vehicle.
The bicyclist was killed in the accident. His name was not immediately released.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
