, California (April 13, 2022) – Keonia Brown, 40, of Moreno Valley, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Monday night traffic accident in Moreno Valley, according to the Sheriff's Department.

The crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m., on April 11, in the 11900 block of Indian Street near Ironwood Avenue.

According to the officials, a 2003 Acura MDX was headed northbound on Indian Street when it crossed into the southbound lanes, crashed into a parked Chevrolet Silverado, and then the garage of a home in unclear circumstances.

Brown, who was a passenger in the Acura, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Acura's driver was extricated from the wreckage and taken to University Medical Center in Moreno Valley with major injuries.

No one in the house was injured.

Following the collision, both the Chevrolet and the garage sustained significant damage.

The crash remains under investigation.
