1 Hospitalized after Corona Car Crash on Highway 91 near Lincoln Avenue
Corona, California (April 14, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that happened early Thursday morning in Corona, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision was reported just before 3 a.m. on westbound Highway 91, near Lincoln Avenue.
As per the report, a semi-truck collided with a black Nissan Armada for unknown reasons. The semi stopped on the right-hand shoulder, and the SUV was left blocking the Nos. 4 and 5 lanes. Shortly after the crash, a white Toyota Corolla slammed into the SUV.
A female party got trapped in one of the vehicles with a broken leg. Responding emergency crews freed the victim and transported her to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
