14-Year-Old Girl Among 4 People Hospitalized after Ojai Crash on East Ojai Avenue near Boardman Road
Ojai, California (April 15, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning multi-vehicle accident that left four people injured, including a 14-year-old girl in Ojai.
The crash occurred at about 8:14 a.m. in the 1900 block of East Ojai Avenue, also known as Highway 150, in front of a local lumber yard near the intersection with Boardman Road.
According to the officials, several vehicles, including a flatbed, collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the head-on collision, two vehicles reportedly went into a ditch, with one rolling over onto its roof
4 Injured in Crash on East Ojai Avenue
The 14-year-old girl was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Ventura County Medical Center.
Three other parties sustained minor to moderate injuries and were hospitalized for treatment.
The accident involved three drivers and one passenger.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for several hours due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
