1 Suffers Major Injuries in Tujunga Car Crash on Angeles Crest Highway near Mile Marker 32.53
Tujunga, California (April 17, 2022) – An air ambulance was used to airlift a seriously injured person to the hospital Sunday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Tujunga, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened at around 2:45 p.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at Mile Marker 32.53.
A black Hyundai Elantra, a Honda Civic and a black Toyota 4Runner were involved in the pileup. The vehicles were blocking both highway lanes after the crash, and oil was spilled all over the roadway.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found one person with major injuries. An air ambulance was requested to transport the victim to the hospital. The highway was closed down for about an hour to allow the helicopter to land and airlift the patient to Huntington Memorial Hospital.
It was not clear if the other motorists were injured.
Caltrans was requested to respond with a sweeper to clean the oil.
