Driver Dies after San Luis Obispo Accident on Broad Street and Industrial Way
San Obispo, California (April 18, 2022) – A driver died after being involved in a two-vehicle accident in San Luis Obispo Sunday morning, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m. on April 17, the vehicles collided at the intersection of Broad Street and Industrial Way.
It's unclear what led up to the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found one of the drivers trapped in the wreckage and unconscious.

The driver was extricated and taken to a hospital, where they later died.
The second motorist was evaluated at the scene and released.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the crash.
Broad Street and Industrial Way was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
Police are investigating to find out what caused the deadly crash.
