48-Year-Old Man Killed in Riverside Scooter Crash on Tyler Street and Wells Avenue

Riverside, California (April 19, 2022) – A man was killed in a scooter collision in Riverside on Tuesday night, according to the Riverside police.
The incident occurred on Tyler Street and Wells Avenue at around 8:15 p.m.
Police said a 48-year-old man was riding a scooter east on Wells Avenue when he collided with a 2015 Chevy Suburban heading south on Tyler Street.

The scooter rider died in the incident.
The driver of the Chevy, a 29-year-old, was not injured and remained at the scene after the collision.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
