Tonya Taylor Seriously Injured in Calistoga Accident on Highway 29

Calistoga, California (April 20, 2022) – 43-year-old Tonya Taylor was seriously hurt in a collision on Highway 29 in Calistoga on Saturday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 11:55 a.m. April 17, as the Clearlake resident was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry south on the highway and swerved into the path of oncoming traffic on a wet curve.

Taylor's Camry crashed head-on into a northbound 2010 Lexus RX350 driven by 43-year-old Melissa Kelch, of Bodega.
Taylor sustained major injuries and was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Kelch had minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
