, California (April 21, 2022) – Laurelyn Gunn was injured in a deadly accident involving a DUI driver in Creek on Saturday night, according to authorities.

Laurelyn's husband Curtis Gunn, 64, of Rossmoor, died following the crash that happened on Tice Creek Drive near Fairlawn Court at about 9 p.m. April 16.

Authorities said the couple was walking along the side of Tice Creek Drive when a vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into them before rolling over.

The pedestrians were taken to a hospital, where Curtis later died of his injuries. 

Laurelyn Gunn Injured in Walnut Creek DUI Accident

Laurelyn was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The DUI driver, 75-year-old Stephen Kiesle, of Rossmoor, was extricated from his car and treated for minor injuries.

He was then arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter and DUI. 

Authorities booked him into the Detention Facility and his bail set at $250,000.

The deadly collision is under investigation.
