At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Tujunga Car Crash on Angeles Crest Highway at Mile Marker 31
Tujunga, California (April 21, 2022) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a head-on collision that happened Thursday morning in Tujunga, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers received a report about the accident at around 11:13 a.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at Mile Marker 31.00.
Two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons. One of the cars was leaning over the guard rail after the crash.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the wreck. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Caltrans responded to the scene to clear debris and clean oil that spilled in the roadway.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
