Edgar Garza Jr Killed in Madera County Crash on Highway 41

Madera County, California (April 22, 2022) – A major car collision left four people dead, among them Edgar Garza Jr., 28, earlier this month in Madera County, according to the Madera County Coroner's Office.
The crash happened on Highway 41 just before midnight on April 8.
Two vehicles, a black Honda Accord and a two-door Scion TC, collided head-on on Highway 41 under unclear circumstances.
Both vehicles became engulfed in flames shortly after, and parties were trapped.

Garza and three others, identified as Danielle Mesta, 33, Jovonie Gonzales, 30, and a 16-year-old girl, died in the incident.
The vehicles were each carrying two occupants at the time of the accident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
