1 Airlifted after Phelan Crash on Palmdale Road near Buttonwood Street
Phelan, California (April 22, 2022) – One person was airlifted after a multi-vehicle collision in Phelan on Friday night, according to authorities.
The incident was reported at around 8:38 p.m. on Palmdale Road, just east of Buttonwood Street.
A white Nissan Altima, a white Kia Optima, and a gray Toyota Camry were among four vehicles involved in the incident.
The vehicles sustained front-end damage following the collision.
1 Flown after Phelan Collision on Palmdale Road
One person sustained critical injuries and was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Two other parties suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The crash caused a closure of both directions of the roadway as crews worked at the scene.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
