1 Hospitalized after Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 101 near Milpas Street Off-Ramp
Santa Barbara, California (April 22, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital after being hurt in a multi-vehicle collision Friday afternoon in Santa Barbara, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup occurred just before 5 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of Milpas Street.
Four vehicles, including a blue Chevrolet Express were involved in the accident.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists for injuries.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Some traffic lanes were temporarily closed following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
