2 Killed, 2 Others Hospitalized after Crash on Highway 60 near 10 Freeway in Beaumont
Beaumont, California (April 23, 2022) – Two people died, and at least two others were hospitalized after a Highway 60 car crash that happened Saturday morning in Beaumont, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near 10 Freeway.
Two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. One of them was reportedly going at speeds of about 90 miles per hour prior to the crash and ended up overturned on its side on top of the guardrail after the accident.
Double Fatal Beaumont Crash on Highway 60
Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced two people dead at the scene.
At least two other people were injured. One of them was hospitalized with major injuries and the other declined medical care for minor injuries.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the accident that left the westbound side of the highway closed from the 10 Freeway.
