1 Seriously Injured in Car Accident on 5 Freeway near La Costa Avenue in Carlsbad
Carlsbad, California (April 23, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash that occurred in Carlsbad early Saturday morning.
The accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near La Costa Avenue at around 2:48 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white pickup truck and a small sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were yet to be established.
Officials say one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
