Rider Seriously Injured in Antelope Valley Motorcycle Accident at 116th Street East and East Avenue T
Los Angeles, California (April 24, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after crashing into a truck in the Northeast Antelope Valley on Saturday evening.
The accident was reported at around 4:36 p.m. in the area of 116th Street East and East Avenue T, near the Jackrabbit Flats Wildlife Sanctuary.
The California Highway Patrol established that a motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a truck pulling a trailer.
The motorcyclist had significant head trauma and was flown to the hospital for treatment.
East Avenue T from 116th Street East to 106th Street East was temporarily shut down as officers conducted an investigation and cleanup.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
