Eliseo Vasquez Killed in Fresno County Crash on S Lake and W American Avenues
Fresno County, California (April 24, 2022) – Eliseo Vasquez, 45, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision on Sunday evening in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on S Lake and W American avenues at around 8:30 p.m.
Vasquez was driving a car westbound on American Avenue when he steered his vehicle into another lane and collided with a westbound car driven by a 45-year-old woman.
Vasquez was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed in the crash.
The woman suffered major injuries in the crash and was flown to an area hospital.
The crash caused a closure of American Avenue as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
