1 Injured in Collision on 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road in Pinole
Pinole, California (April 26, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Pinole.
The accident happened on Interstate 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road at around 3:56 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A delivery truck reportedly rear-ended a Volkswagen Jetta on the roadway. The impact of the collision sent the truck off the roadway and down an embankment.
One juvenile passenger was injured in the collision and was transported to Kaiser Richmond for treatment.
