Gerardo Becerra Killed in San Diego Accident on State Route 163 near Genesee Avenue
San Diego, California (April 26, 2022) – Gerardo Becerra, 24, has been identified as the man who was killed in a crash involving a garbage truck that happened in San Diego on Monday morning, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Becerra was driving a Ford Fusion sedan at a high rate of speed when he crashed into a commercial trash truck.
Authorities said Becerra was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
