Minor Injuries Suffered in Folsom Car Accident on Highway 50 near Prairie City Road Onr
Folsom, California (April 26, 2022) – Several vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon in Folsom, resulting in minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup happened at about 5:33 p.m. on eastbound Highway 50, just west of the Prairie City Road on-ramp.
Six vehicles were involved in the collision. One of them, a white truck, overturned onto its side.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and assessed the motorists for injuries. An unknown number of parties were treated for minor injuries, but it was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
At least four vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
