CHP Officer Injured in Downey Car Accident on Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at Lakewood Boulevard
Doowney, California (April 28, 2022) – A crash involving a California Highway Patrol vehicle caused injuries early Thursday morning near Downey, according to authorities.
The incident was reported on the eastbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway at the offramp to Lakewood Boulevard at around 1:24 a.m.
A civilian vehicle collided with the patrol vehicle and the impact caused the patrol car to burst into flames.
