Police Officer Hospitalized after Merced Car Accident on 14th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way
Merced, California (April 29, 2022) – A police officer was taken to a hospital after a collision at an intersection in Merced on Thursday, according to the authorities.
The incident happened in the area of 14th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
A civilian vehicle slammed into the side of a police cruiser after both drivers entered the intersection at the same time.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to the drivers of the vehicles.
The officer was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
There was no update on the condition of the second driver.
