Minor Injuries Suffered in Hayward Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Hacienda Avenue
Hayward, California (April 30, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a multi-car accident that happened Friday morning in Hayward.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided at about 7:55 a.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Hacienda Avenue.
A white Fiat, a white Volkswagen Beetle and a white Toyota Rav4 were involved in the accident. The Fiat was smoking after the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the collision.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the pileup.
