Rio Vista Woman Dies in Sacramento Car Accident on Highway 160
Sacramento, California (April 30, 2022) – A Rio Vista woman was killed in a collision that happened on Thursday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. April 29, on Highway 160 near the Rio Vista bridge.
The Rio Vista woman was driving a silver Kia north on Highway 160 when she collided with an oncoming black Saturn sport utility vehicle that crossed the double yellow lines.
The driver of the Kia died in the crash.
The other motorist, a Rio Vista woman, was taken to East Bay hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
