4 Injured in Five-Vehicle Collision on Highway 91 near Tyler Street
Riverside, California (May 4, 2022) – Four people were hospitalized after a Wednesday evening major injury Riverside multi-car crash, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Five vehicles collided at about 6:24 p.m. on eastbound Highway 91, just west of Tyler Street.
The Riverside Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision.
According to the fire department, four people were taken to the hospital, at least one of them with major injuries.
The pileup left some eastbound traffic lanes closed for about an hour. All lanes were reopened at 7:34 p.m.
CHP is investigating the accident.
