Rider Seriously Injured in Lucerne Valley Motorcycle Accident on Camp Rock and Rabbit Springs Roads

Lucerne Valley, California (May 5, 2022) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center after colliding with a semi-truck Thursday afternoon in Lucerne Valley.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred at about 2:35 p.m. on Camp Rock Road and Rabbit Springs Road.
The motorcyclist, believed to be a 75-year-old man, was recklessly driving his Yamaha motorcycle when he collided with the semi.
The rider suffered an injury to his arm and was heavily bleeding. The San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and requested a helicopter to airlift the victim. Helicopter H285 landed at Pioneer Park and transported the rider to the trauma center at Loma Linda Medical Center.
The driver of the semi remained at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
