Several Injured in Bellflower Car Crash on 91 Freeway
Bellflower, California (May 7, 2022) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Bellflower.
The California Highway Patrol said a man was waving vehicle debris at passing cars, as he walked towards Bellflower along the 91 Freeway when a big rig swerved to avoid hitting him.
The big rig then collided with at least one vehicle.
The pedestrian was not struck in the incident.
Several minor injuries were reported following the crash.
The big rig's gasoline tank was punctured and cleanup crews were able to contain the spillage.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
