At Least 1 Injured in San Diego Accident on Interstate 8 Freeway near Qualcomm Way
San Diego, California (May 7, 2022) – One person was hurt in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in San Diego on Friday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
A black Jeep Cherokee SUV and a motorcycle were involved in the incident that took place at around 2:19 p.m. on May 6, on the Interstate 8 Freeway.
The two collided on the westbound side of the freeway for unknown reasons.
The impact sent the motorcycle onto the right shoulder of the freeway.

According to the report, emergency crews responded to the scene to assist the injured motorcyclist.
There was no update on the condition of the motorcyclist.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
