Woman Injured in Collision at Broadway and 11th Avenue in San Diego
San Diego, California (May 7, 2022) – A woman was injured in a collision at an intersection in the Core-Columbia community of San Diego early Saturday morning.
The accident was reported at around 3:40 a.m. in the area of Broadway and 11th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 30-year-old woman was driving a red 2008 Mazda 6 westbound on Broadway when she ran a red light at the intersection and broadsided a white 2016 Cadillac Escalade driven by a 42-year-old man.
The woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
