1 Killed in Moss Landing Car Crash on Highway 1 at Potrero Road
Moss Landing, California (May 8, 2022) – One person was killed in a Moss Landing car crash that happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup occurred at about 4:51 p.m. in the southbound lanes at Potrero Road.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
CHP said one person was killed in the accident.
The report also said an elderly woman was bleeding but conscious.
One of the cars was leaking some fluids, and an absorbant was needed to clean the roadway.
Southbound Highway 1 was shut down, and traffic was being diverted into Moss Landing Road.
