Kern County, California (May 8, 2022) – One person was killed in a near Randsburg in Kern County on Friday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 2:38 p.m. on US at Garlock Road.

A man was riding a motorcycle on Highway 395 when he crashed into a utility carrying asphalt.

The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the motorcycle and landed on the roadway.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and performed life-saving measures on the rider. Sadly, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
