1 Seriously Injured in Car Accident on Highway 12 near Terminous in South Sacramento
Sacramento, California (May 8, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash early Sunday morning in south Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 12 near Terminous Road at around 12:37 a.m.
An SUV and a semi-truck were involved in the collision. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, the SUV became stuck underneath the big rig after the crash.
The fire department crews who responded to the incident had to extricate one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
One person was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
