Monica Gonitz Hurt in Fatal Moss Landing Car Accident on Highway 1 near Potrero Road
Moss Landing, California (May 10, 2022) – Monica Gonitz, 31, of San Jose, was injured in a fatal car accident in Moss Landing on Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 1 near Potrero Road on Saturday, May 7.
According to the report, Gonitz was driving northbound on Highway 1 when she went across the yellow lines and collided with a vehicle driven by a 69-year-old driver.
The second driver died following the collision.
The crash left Gonitz and her passenger, David Ramirez, 32, of San Jose, with minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
