Modesto Talamantes Among 2 Killed in Tujunga Crash on 210 Freeway
Tujunga, California (May 17, 2022) – Modesto Talamantes, 51, of San Fernando, was among two people killed in a collision involving a big rig on Monday evening in Tujunga, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
At around 5:25 p.m. on May 16, a car traveling on the westbound side of the 210 Freeway slammed into the rear of a semi truck.
The accident happened east of La Tuna Canyon Road.
CHP said the car was wedged beneath the big rig as a result of the collision.

Talamantes was in the car with another San Fernando man. The two were killed in the accident.
The crash caused a closure of the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
