Thomas Ornelaz Killed in Tujunga Collision on 210 Freeway
Tujunga, California (May 17, 2022) – Thomas Ornelaz, 40, of San Fernando, was killed in a crash with a semi-truck in the Tujunga area on Monday evening, the Los Angeles County coroner's office said.
At about 5:25 p.m. on May 16, a vehicle traveling westbound on the 210 Freeway crashed into the back of a semi-truck for unknown reasons.
The wreck took place east of La Tuna Canyon Road.

The car was wedged underneath the big rig following the collision.
The two occupants of the car, Ornelaz and Modesto Talamantes, 51, of San Fernando, were killed in the collision.
Authorities closed the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway for the investigation.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
