Man Killed in Riverside County Accident on Interstate 215 near Columbia Avenue
Riverside County, California (May 19, 2022) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision involving a street sweeper truck early Thursday morning in Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 5 a.m., authorities responded to a four-vehicle collision that caused at least one of them to burst into flames on Interstate 215 near Columbia Avenue.
The circumstances under which the vehicles collided were not immediately established.

CHP said a 45-year-old Norco man died in the collision. It's unclear whether the other involved people were injured.
All lanes of I-215 were blocked for over three hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is investigating to find out what caused the deadly accident.
