Los Angeles, CA: Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 118 Freeway

, California (May 22, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday night that killed a 27-year-old motorcyclist in Los Angeles.

The crash occurred at about 11:20 p.m., on May 21, on the westbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, east of Rocky Peak Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white 2008 Suzuki GXSR, operated by the 27-year-old man, was traveling westbound in the number one lane when it made an unsafe turning movement to the right. Unfortunately, the motorcycle crashed into the back of a blue Toyota Tundra.

As a result of the crash impact, the rider was reportedly ejected onto the roadway.

Sadly, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
