Major Injuries Sustained in Traffic Collision on Camino Tassajara in Pleasanton
Pleasanton, California (May 22, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries when two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon in Pleasanton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Cadillac Escalade and a gray Honda Civic were involved in the accident just before 1 p.m. on eastbound Camino Tassajara near Finely Road.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the 4975 block of Camino Tassajara and blocked the northbound traffic lane.
The firefighters said the crash resulted in major injuries to at least one person. Another person complained of pain and dizziness, but it was not clear if they were hospitalized.
The Cadillac was towed away from the scene.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
