Gabriel Falcon ID'd as 32-Year-Old Man Killed in Long Beach Accident on Coronado Avenue and Anaheim Street
Long Beach, California (May 23, 2022) – The bicyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Long Beach early Saturday morning has been identified as Gabriel Falcon, 32, of Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
The crash was reported at around 12:15 a.m. on May 21, on Coronado Avenue and Anaheim Street.
Long Beach police said Falcon was riding a bike eastbound in the westbound lanes of Anaheim Street when he was hit by a westbound 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by a Glendale resident.

Falcon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver who struck Falcon stayed at the scene after the accident.
According to police, speed, distraction, and impairment were not believed to have played a role in the incident.
The collision remains under investigation.

- Do not drive when impaired. Do not use your phone while driving.
