3 Hospitalized, Alejandro Perales Arrested after Fontana Accident at Sierra and Baseline Avenues
Fontana, California (May 23, 2022) – Alejandro Silva Perales, 27, was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a crash that left three people hospitalized on Sunday night, according to the Fontana Police Department.
The collision happened at around 9:35 p.m. on May 22, on Sierra and Baseline Avenues.
Police said Perales was driving in the area when he allegedly failed to stop for a red light and collided with a vehicle carrying a family of three.
The three in the second vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Perales reportedly left the scene after the crash but was arrested shortly after for DUI. He was also treated for minor abrasions.
The incident is under investigation.
