Frank Romero Killed in Fresno Bicycle Crash at Herndon and Blackstone Avenues
Fresno, California (May 27, 2022) – Frank Romero, 74, of Fresno, has been identified as the bicyclist who was killed in a collision that occurred on Tuesday morning in Fresno, according to the authorities.
The incident occurred at Herndon and Blackstone avenues shortly before 5:30 a.m. on May 24.
Police said Romero was riding a bike in the area when a vehicle struck him.
Medics responded to the scene and tried to help Romero, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver who struck Romero reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The crash caused a closure of Herndon Avenue at Maroa Avenue and southbound Blackstone Avenue for the investigation.
The accident remained under investigation.

- Do not drive when impaired. Do not use your phone while driving.
