2 Injured in Acton Accident on 14 Freeway near Red Rover Mine Road

Acton, California (May 27, 2022) – Two people were hurt in a rollover collision involving two vehicles on Friday afternoon in Acton, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at about 2:20 p.m. on the 14 Freeway near Red Rover Mine Road.
According to the authorities, two cars collided on the northbound side of the freeway, and one of them overturned. The second car was sent down an embankment.
Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The crash impacted traffic on northbound 14 Freeway.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is ongoing.

According to statistics by NHTSA, over 15,000 lives were saved by seat belts in crashes that happened in 2017. In 2020, 10,893 unbuckled people in passenger vehicles died in crashes in the US. 60% of the young adults (ages 18 to 34) killed in the crashes were completely unrestrained.
