Ryan Moody Killed in Fiery Head-On Collision on Highway 49 near Gold Strike Road in San Andreas

San Andreas, California (June 2, 2022) – 32-year-old Ryan Moody of Jackson has been identified as the man who was killed in a fiery Saturday evening crash in San Andreas.
The accident happened at around 5:13 p.m. on Highway 49 near Gold Strike Road.
The California Highway Patrol said Ryan was driving a Ford Expedition SUV when he drifted into the opposing traffic lane and hit an oncoming Dodge Ram truck.
Both vehicles caught fire and Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram, Rodney Patrick of San Andreas, suffered major injuries and was flown to UC Davis.
San Andreas, California (May 29, 2022) – One person was killed and another was injured in a fiery traffic collision in San Andreas on Saturday.
The deadly crash happened on Highway 49 near Gold Strike Road at around 5:13 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Ford vehicle was driving southbound at a high speed when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram.
The Ford burst into flames after the collision.
The unidentified driver of the Ford was killed in the crash.
The driver of the Dodge was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated before being flown to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the crash were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
