County, California (May 30, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving two vehicles that happened on Monday evening in .

A car and a pickup were involved in the accident near South and Cherry avenues at about 5:00 p.m.

A passenger in the truck, only identified as a Hispanic male adult of 20 to 25 years of age, died of their injuries following the collision.

The driver of the truck sustained major injuries in the crash. Two adults in the car were injured. All three patients were taken to the hospital.

No further details on the incident were released.

An investigation into the deadly collision is ongoing.
