At Least 1 Injured in Imperial Accident on Dogwood and Ralph Roads
Imperial, California (June 1, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Imperial on Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
A black Toyota Camry and a brown Toyota Camry were involved in the incident that took place at around 6:02 a.m. at Dogwood Road and Ralph Road.
The vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to the parties involved in the accident.
One person was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.
The CHP is working to determine the cause of the collision.

According to statistics by NHTSA, over 15,000 lives were saved by seat belts in crashes that happened in 2017. In 2020, 10,893 unbuckled people in passenger vehicles died in crashes in the US. 60% of the young adults (ages 18 to 34) killed in the crashes were completely unrestrained.
