One Killed in Brawley Crash on Butters Road near State Route 78
Brawley, California (June 6, 2022) – One person was killed in a collision that happened on Sunday morning near Brawley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 7 a.m. on Butters Road near State Route 78.
A Toyota Tacoma reportedly drifted into the path of a Hyundai Elantra, leading to a collision between the two.
The Toyota was pushed into a canal following the impact of the accident.
The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Tacoma only suffered minor injuries.
Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
